It depends. A lawyer can represent you through all stages of the mediation process, or just part of it. Some people choose to resolve their cases without hiring a lawyer. In some cases just one party will have a lawyer represent them.
Angeles Mediation can write up all of the necessary documents to start and finish a court case, with or without lawyers representing the parties.
If the parties don’t have a lawyer, Angeles Mediation can also write up the court documents, or an understanding of the agreement, and you can take that to a lawyer to review and give you advice. This kind of service by a lawyer is called “unbundled services.”
Angeles Mediation can provide basic legal information, but cannot provide legal advice to either party.
